Cheating locations for Arjun

Arjun Kapoor was in the midst of shooting his untitled film for director Shashilal Nair’s daughter Kaashvi Nair’s debut film along with Rakul Preet Singh when they were told that they will need to wait and reallot the dates.

The shooting of the film which is based on a cross border romance was to end in the fag end of March, but then the shoot was cancelled.

“There was not much left in the shoot – there was a photoshoot and a song that needed to be shot, both would not have taken over a week’s time to wrap, but then that incomplete portion has left everyone disturbed. Had it just been for the post production, it would not have been much of a hassle. Not the entire drama of taking everyone’s dates all over again - because both Arjun and Rakul are busy – Arjun is busy in Bollywood as he also has to promote Sandeep and Pinky Faraar once the film gets a release date again and Rakul in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, that it is going to be a pain,” say sources.

Importantly the shoot was to take place abroad. “Now, if we have to plan the shoot abroad, it won’t happen soon. Hence, it may have to be shot in India by cheating locations,” add sources.
