Salman in six hour ruckus outside Aishwarya's; From the Archives

A drunk Salman Khan tried to barge into Aishwarya Rai's pad at at Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri, on Sunday night.

Security men posted at the building stated that an inebriated Salman knocked at Aishwarya's door for nearly six hours. "Salman created a scene at midnight. He shouted loudly and woke everyone. By 3 am, his hand was badly injured. He then called two unidentified people and they knocked on her door till 6 am. Aishwarya finally opened the door. He then went in and the duo emerged from the room only at 8 pm," said a security man from Trig Security Services, which is in charge of the security of the building.

The neighbours are petrified of Salman and do not want to be quoted. "He is known to be very violent. That is why we did not bother, though his behaviour was a nuisance," said a neighbour.

Aishwarya stays alone in this house and her parents stay at Laxmi Nivas in Bandra.

Neighbours said that Salman even threatened to go up to the terrace of the building, which has 19 floors, and climb down to the 17th floor where Aishwarya lives.

Another security man said, "The previous day, Aishwarya's driver told us that we shouldn't allow Salman in. So when Salman forcefully entered the flat, her father was very upset and yelled at us. But the next day, we were told that Salman could now be allowed in. We find the entire incident very strange."

It is now common knowledge that Aishwarya and Salman are in love, but the Rai family is against the relationship because of Salman's brattish behaviour and his involvement in the Black Buck case.

The Ash-Salman prem kahani started when the duo were shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam by the end of which they were telling each other hum dil de chuke.

Salman, who has even slapped Subhash Ghai at a party, is known for his violent temper and is even said to have beaten up Aishwarya after which she appeared with a heavily padded arm to collect her trophy at the Filmfare Awards ceremony. Salman is also alleged to have beaten up his ex-girlfriend Somy Ali on numerous occasions.

A source close to Salman said that the Rai family should not interfere because Salman and Aishwarya are both single and there is no harm in the relationship.

When contacted, members of the Rai family refused to come on line and the servant asked us to fax the reason why we wanted to speak to them.

The Rai household is said to be in a turmoil at the moment. And Salman who cannot be contacted seems to be screaming Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya.
