We told you how Shah Rukh Khan being a part of the Bob Biswas project helped Sujoy Ghosh get the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the producer of Kahaani - Jayantilal Gada.
But well, that is not necessarily the end of Ghoshbabu’s stress. Ghosh’s daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh who is helming the film has been worried about the continuity issues of her lead star Abhishek Bachchan who toplines the cast along with Chitrangada Singh.
So, Abhishek had put on some weight to play the role of Bob Biswas in the film. His second film shoot in Kolkata in recent times after he shot for Anurag Basu’s Ludo there. Abhishek had shot there for Amani Rathnam’s Yuva as well, but this film saw him bulk up.
“Now the issue is that Abhishek has to keep himself in the same weight group – if he exercises too much, he may lose too much weight or he if doesn’t and puts on more weight – he will need to work harder to shed it. The earlier diet and regimen needed to be followed to the ‘T’ without even knowing when the film will go on the floors again and that is difficult for anyone,” says a source.
Whether the Guru actor loses or gains weight or follows a regimen knowing well that the process could take a few more months remains to be seen. Abhishek had anyway put in a lot of weight when he was working in the Mani Rathnam directed Guru as well.
Abhishek is also acting in the Ajay Devgn produced The Big Bull as well in which he has a bulkier frame than normal. Abhishek’s next release however will be the Basu directed Ludo. Abhishek who will also be seen in the second season of Breathe has also greenlighted a project with director Tushar Jalota and actress Yami Gautam for producer Dinesh Vijan.
