Varun-Sara film gets new guidelines

Updated: May 25, 2020

The makers of films - Coolie No 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan who were the first to keep their sets plastic free following the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s request – have another first to their credit. They have set up new rules for the shootings and post production of their movies. Coolie No 1 whose post production is set to resume once the lockdown ends is the producers Vashu And Jackky Bhagnani’s next release followed by the shooting of the Akshay Kumar movie – Bell Bottom. The makers issued a note trying to follow all guidelines specified by the government and health agencies for an indefinite period after the lockdown ends. “Every department will follow all guidelines of sanitisation and social distancing. Some of the ground rules, Pooja Entertainment is mulling include using closed studios, larger tents with portable ACs for shooting, limiting people on sets, sanitising all common areas, making masks and gloves compulsory for all staff, continuously dis-infecting equipment, medical assistance on the sets at all times, among other things,” says the suggested rule book from the Bhagnanis. The Mollywood film industry in Kerala has already put out some rules regarding the post production work now and Bollywood too is following suit.
